Our Artisans

Our highly skilled artisans have crafted their art both here in Australia and internationally.  Widely digitally experienced, they have worked with EXOCAD, 3 Shape, Nobel Procera and ZirkonZahn scanning and design, to name a few, and the laboratory is equipped with an in-house mill and 3D printer.

We produce full fixed and removable restorations and attachments, crowns, implant crowns and quality dentures.  At Ceramic Artisans, our technicians have direct contact with the patients to ensure exact tooth shade matching for maximum aesthetics.

 
 

Katsuya  

Manager, Senior Ceramist

Katsuya is a Certified Dental Technician with over 18 years of experience in the dental industry, specialising in cosmetic dentistry for over a decade. He has collaborated with numerous cosmetic dentists to deliver beautiful smiles to patients.

Adapting to the evolving landscape of dentistry, Katsuya initially approached digital technology with reservation. However, through dedicated study and practice, he has become a skilled technician with digital capability, managing complex workflows with expertise. He is convinced that by maximising the advantages of both digital technology and traditional craftsmanship, we can provide even higher quality dental products.

With a keen eye for the gap between market demands and technicians' creative aspirations, Katsuya is committed to leveraging the latest technology to bridge this divide and deliver exceptional results. His guiding principle is "Uncompromising dedication, painstaking craftsmanship, and empathy for patients."

 

KOJI

SENIOR CERAMIST

Koji Yura is a certified dental technician with over 22 years of experience in the dental industry. After graduating from Toho Dental College in Japan, he migrated to Melbourne, Australia, in 2002 to hone his skills as a lab technician. In 2008, Koji relocated to Sydney to further pursue his career.

With a strong foundation in dental technology, Koji has dedicated his career to crafting high-quality dental restorations. His expertise in complex shade matching cases has enabled him to contribute significantly to the field and provide exceptional patient care.

In his spare time, Koji enjoys traditional Japanese drumming, jogging, and fishing. He is a dedicated marathoner, having completed two full marathons in Sydney and Canberra.

Sadaf is a skilled ceramist with a solid foundation in dental technology, having dedicated four years to studying at a prestigious university in Iran. Her expertise lies in the intricate realm of crown and bridge work, where she has gained invaluable experience. Sadaf's true passion, however, lies in her role as a ceramist, infusing her creations with artistry and precision. Eager to stay at the forefront of her field, she is continually expanding her knowledge and exploring the possibilities of digital dentistry. Sadaf's commitment to excellence and enthusiasm for learning make her a standout professional in the world of dental technology.

Acrylic/dental Technician

Joey brings 12 years of invaluable experience from the dental industry to his craft. His passion for prosthetics fuels his commitment to crafting top-notch prosthetics. 

He  thrives in collaborative environments, valuing teamwork as an essential element in achieving optimal results for his clients. Beyond his professional dedication, he finds joy in sports, balancing his technical expertise with a love for physical activity.
